Historical Highlights from the 1970s
1970 - Chorus traveled
to Bakersfield, Calif. To record a new album, "Howlin".
1973 – British Isles tour. Performed in
England and Scotland.
1975 - Performed at the Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for
the Performing Arts in New York.
1975 - New Chorus building dedicated. John Stuart Davis appointed director
replacing Jeffrey Haskell.
1978 - The album,
"Tucson-Arizona’s Favorite
Child", recorded at Lee Furr Studios in Tucson.
1979 - Fortieth Anniversary of the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus.
