The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus and Sons of Orpheus

BOYS TO MEN CHORAL FESTIVAL
Where: Catalina United Methodist Church
2700 East Speedway Blvd.
When: Saturday, April 28th, 2007
Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm (Activities include breakout sessions, large group singing, lunch, and final concert.)
Registration Fees: Youth Free. Adults nominal $10 payable at the festival. All participants receive lunch and momento.
The Boys to Men Choral Festival invites boys and men with an interest in choral singing to participate in this one day event. Activities include: workshops and rehearsals which are designed to stimulate interest in the rich tradition of male choral singing, and a grand finale where the boys and men join together in one voice to present a final concert
EXPAND your musical knowledge through concepts and techniques taught in small group and breakout sessions.
MEET others interested in singing and learn of local choral groups that you may join.
SING together and enjoy the day with others who share the love of singing!
Clinician: Dr. Brook Larson
Dr. Larson, professor of Choral Music Education at Arizona State University, will serve as the visiting clinician and festival conductor. Dr. Larson is founder and director of the Sun Devil Singers and currently directs the ASU Men’s Chorus. Recently, he has conducted the Arizona Music Educators Association Junior High School All-State Choir, the Greater Phoenix Honor Choir, and the Arizona High School Southwest All-Regional Honor Choir.
