Audition Spaces Available!
Boys ages 8 - 11 are invited to audition for the 2008 - 2009 concert season. No prior music experience is necessary other than the ability to match pitch. Group auditions are April 24th at 4pm and April 26th at 2pm or by appointment. Boys who audition and join the Chorus before May 4th, will receive complimentary tickets to the annual Pops Concert and have opportunity to participate in summer camp. Chorus Debuts Neighborhood Cadet Choir!
The Neighborhood Cadet Choir (NCC) is a satellite program to boys in 2nd and 3rd grade providing educational opportunities that include the learning and performance of a variety of choral repertoire: western, classical and modern. The NCC will meet weekly with selected music teachers as well as with other members of the Tucson Boys Chorus where they will benefit from camaraderie, encouragement of continued choral singing and large group practice.

Chorus Returns from Seoul, South Korea and Hong Kong, China
The Chorus returned from the last leg of the 2007 tour season on July 31st. The tour included performances in two festivals, The 3rd World Vision 2007 International Children’s Choir Festival in Seoul and the Children Of The World In Harmony, the 16th international children’s choir and performing arts festival in Hong Kong. Upcoming Tours - Almaty, Kazakhstan; Prague, Czech Republic; and East Coast
On January 19th, the Chorus will perform a combined concert with the Isker Boy Choir from Almaty, Kazakhstan, which will not only feature the folksongs of Kazakhstan, but the evening will also provide camaraderie and friendships which will be renewed when the Tucson Boys Chorus travels to Kazakhstan in June 2008. After a week of singing and sight-seeing with the Isker Boys Choir, the boys will continue their journey to the Czech Republic where they will participate in the 2nd International Boys and Men’s Choral Festival. The Chorus will perform with other boys and mens choirs from around the world under the direction of world-renowned conductors James Litton, Diane Loomer, Robert Sund and Jaroslav Krcek. Concerts will take place in historic churches and theatres of Central Europe, including the famous Dvorak Hall in the Rudolfinum, Prague. In March of 2008, the Chorus will travel to various cities in the Northeast: Toledo, Ohio; Pittsburg and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; New York, New York; Princeton, New Jersey; and Washington D.C.
